Each year 4-5 camps or clinics are offered for first-time or advanced athletes in swimming, biking and running – individually focused or tri-level. Each athlete will have the opportunity for personal interactions with our qualified and experienced coaches and get the education, practical tips, extensive training and hand-on skills to rock out your races. It takes a village to build a strong triathlete, a stronger you, and stepping out of that comfort zone brings on change.
So, how do we get better at swimming which is certainly the most technical of all 3 of the sports in triathlon? Establish good techniques and habits early. Fitness will come and for that, we swim more and swim purposeful sets. The proper off-season plan to improve technique will carry you far.

Limited to 15 athletes

Improve your swim with this weekend swim camp led by two of the top coaches in North Carolina. The tentative itinerary is:

8:00AM – 10:00AM Swim Video Session

10:30AM – 12:30PM Swim Analysis/Classroom Session

12:30PM – 2:00PM Break

2:00PM – 4:00PM Semi-Private Lessons

This clinic is limited to 15 athletes.

WINTER WARM-UP SWIM

An action-packed day of swim skills, speed and success! This one-day clinic will feature everything you need to jump start your season. It will set you up with the swim fundamentals that you can take with you for the rest of your year.

VIDEO SESSION – High-quality video of your stroke from above and beneath the water.

CSS TEST – Find your Critical Swim Speed, an approximation of your lactate threshold speed.

SWIM FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH – This session will teach you a vital circuit to practice on deck before or after your regular swim training.

STROKE TEST – The Stroke Rate Ramp Test is a series of 50-yard swims with a short break in between.

 

EMPOWER Triathlon Camp

Camp EMPOWER promises to make you stronger mentally and physically. This camp is brought to you by 4 powerhouse coaches who are all known for their ability to connect with athletes and bring out the best in them. The secret is that being the best isn’t just about hard workouts, it is a combination of physical challenge, positive feedback and mental stimulation. It is about growing as athlete and a person all at the same time. At our camp we allow you to focus on YOU. We have 4 coaches dedicated to making your experience everything you want it to be along with another 2 assistants we will not leave anyone behind.

This weekend will allow you to train like a pro with support and meals all taken care of all you need to do is arrive with your bike ready to ride, your sports nutrition and an open mind.

Limit is 20 athletes.

FULL FUSION TRIATHLON SYMPOSIUM

This year’s Spring Symposium is a weekend of intensive training for Coaches and Athletes.  In two solid days of SWIMBIKERUN FUN, you will get the education and hands-on skills you need for 2019.

  This year’s USAT-SANCTIONED clinic features three coaches: Beth Andrew, Sami Winter, and Charlie George in conjunction with Coastal Sports Tours, a world-class sports concierge company.
